Thirty four exchange students and members of the District 7040 Youth Exchange Commmittee spent the weekend of April 13th to 15th at a spring retreat in Kingston. The participating students were the current inbound students, last year's outbound students, and the students going out this summer including Katherine from our club. On Friday evening the students just chilled out and enjoyed the snacks they had prepared from either their home country or the country they were going to. Saturday was a busy day as we went wall climbing in the morning and then spread mulch in a city park as a community service project in the afternoon. After cleaning up and relaxing a bit, it was off for a "healthy" supper of burgers and fries at Five Guys followed by a haunted walk in Old Kingston. Sunday saw us enjoying each others company, some for the last time as this is the last occasion the inbounds and outbounds will be together and then our return home.

The Rotary Youth Exchange Programme helps turn today's youth into tomorrow's leaders.
