Kemptville Marks Remembrance Day
11 November 2022

To mark Remembrance Day, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch in Kemptville led the local remembrance ceremony at the cenotaph in downtown Kemptville.

To honour Canada's veterans and those who died serving in the military, especially the fallen from Kemptville, the ceremony included a veterans' march, the playing of the Last Post, two minutes of silence, the laying of wreaths by Mayor Nancy Peckford, the Legion, Emergency Services, and others. Kemptvillians lined Prescott Street and applauded the veterans, active military, young cadets, and emergency services personnel as they marched past.
