Chief Military Engineer Returns

Tonight's speaker was MGen Christine Whitecross, Canada's chief military engineer and a fellow Rotarian. General Whitecross has previously spoken to our club about the role our military engineers have played in Afghanistan. Tonight due to a last minute glitch with the availability of AV equipment, she modified her presentation to explain how a small town girl from Chalk River became Canada's top military engineer. The membership probably enjoyed the personal touch of this presentation more than they would have the prepared one. That being siad, it is hoped that we can have her back to do her planned programme.
