Become a Club Member and Join Kemptville Rotary!
Our club membership process is easy.
- Attend a Meeting. Begin by being our guest at a regular meeting. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month from 6:30-7:45 p.m. We typically meet at the Grenville Mutual Insurance building (380 Colonnade Drive). - Introduce yourself. Everyone is friendly and we’d love to get to know you. Let us know if you want to learn more about Rotary and our club’s programs and initiatives. You will quickly discover that none of us are shy about talking about the work we do locally and internationally. Undoubtedly, you’ll find a fit for your skills and interests.
- Indicate your interest in becoming a member! Once you decide that you would like to be a member of this club, complete an application form which you can acquire from the Membership Chair.
- Have an Interview. Once we receive your membership application, the Membership Chair and Club President will review your application and arrange a meeting with you to get to know you a little better, explain the various aspects and commitments you undertake when you become a Rotarian, and answer any questions you may have.
- Approval! Your application is shared with the membership in general for its approval. Usually, this is done quickly by email.
During this interview and review time you are welcome to attend meetings and participate in any club projects that might be happening.
Following approval, you pay your dues (pro-rated based on $240 / year) to cover the costs associated with the club, Rotary District 7040, and Rotary International, and you are inducted as a new member of the Rotary Club of Kemptville and of Rotary International.
