With the arrival of spring, the sap in our maple trees starts to run and the process of turning it into liquid gold begins. The first weekend of April marked the return of Maplefest at the Round The Bend Sugarbush on the college campus.
Again this year, members of our Rotary Club partnered with the Kemptville Youth Centre to provide a delicious pancake breakfast.While Saturday's weather wasn't great, a good number of people came out to enjoy the meal and golden product. The weather on Sunday was spectacular and so were the crowds. below, members of both organizations prepare for the door's opening to serve their hungry patrons.
