Scouts Commissioner Visits Club

Our speaker this evening was Dan Gilpin, Group Commissioner of the North Grenville Scouts. During his talk, Dan spoke of the Scouting movement, its aims and some of the challenges it faces. He also gave the club an overview of the programme that our area youth are provided with as well as a recap of the events the members of the scouting movement have participated in this year. Pictured above is the presentation of a certificate of appreciation to the club from the Scouting movement. Our club was the charter sponsor for the scouting movement to come to Kemptville in the first half of the last century.
