Eric Connell provided a review of what 4H is all about. He noted the program is always looking for volunteers. He explained what 4H has done for him, reviewing the opportunities he has had since joining.

He has attended clubs, fairs and day camps. In 2007 he created a slide show for "Queen of Furrow" at International Plowing Match and as a result was asked by the 4H president to be an IT assistant at Guelph Waterloo. Eric explained he was a 15 year-old working with 18 year-old members and guest presenter, astronaut Chris Hatfield. He reported that opportunity was "the coolest thing ever". In 2009 he worked on the 4H website and participated in, and created Public Service Announcements (PSAs) about Farm Safety in Guelph. He most recently competed in the competition for Spencerville Fair Ambassador and he won making him the first male to win the title. Eric will be attending Loyalist College to study television and new media production. He noted that he has starred in and create four PSAs on Youtube. In conclusion Eric thanked the club stating the scholarship is helping him with his schooling.
